Extremely professional and communicative service, that allows for a high degree of flexibility for unique projects. Not just limited to cleaning and moving, but also allowed for effective organizing of dynamically shifting nuances to our job (timelines, scope, moving locations, moving dates, number of trucks, number of worker, mix of final destinations). Even helped to organize delivery of donated goods up from Bangkok to Phitsanulok. There is a clear 'convenience tax' in terms of increased price here for effective English communication compared to other local options, but that is an investment in efficacy of job execution. Would (and will) book again.
What do residents think of this property?
I stayed in the Ramada Plaza private residences so I am writing a review as it’s your hotel staff that provide services there that are the issue Stayed here for one month. The apartments are really nice, quiet with great views, the swimming pool not so great. Gymnasium is amazing. But the concierge staff are utterly miserable. Not one conversation, smile or even eye contact. Very weird and uncomfortable as you pass them on a daily basis. They need serious training even in the basics of customer services.
1. Room had bed bugs. Bites were found all over the body. Informed hotel staff, no apology, no amends. 2. Lobby sofa found bugs and cockroaches. 3. Staff accused us of losing umbrella and fined us without giving us the benefit of the doubt. When speaking to staff over the phone i asked for his name and he said mommy. Then he said he needs a mom to tell me off. What an idiot. He was totally incoherent. Ramada needs to restructure their staff training. This particular staff is of low class trying to condescend customers. I have a booking in October with another Ramada in Bangkok. I'm going to cancel. Never staying at Ramada again.
Small Aparthotel connected to a huge 40-floor skyscraper with rooms that are supposedly for rent, but I was placed in one of the studios in the skyscraper anyway. Great views from the 22nd floor, nice bed but small bathroom where water kept leaking out all over the floor. The hotel's communication prior to booking was non-existent (booked via Agoda) - I had no idea there was a 2000 Baht deposit but fortunately I had enough cash to cover it and didn't have to do a card transaction which would take longer to refund. I didn't get any information about breakfast and was a bit confused why a kitchenette was provided without any cooking utensils or cutlery. Overall a very good stay in a nice part of Bangkok, and great city views, but staff a bit too remote and would probably stay in a more conventional hotel next time.
Really thought that as part of a major hotel chain, it would have been better. Not only 2000 baht deposit per room... oh cash or credit card, which would be refunded at least 2 weeks after departure. Then, there is no information on food outlets or a rooftop bar and pool from reception. When we did use pool,we were expected to use our room towels, no towels available at poolside. Then, to cap it all, the rooftop bar is cash only, and it can't be signed to our room despite the hotel holding the aforementioned 2000 baht. Not impressed Wyndham 😕
The hotel is perfect for a short stay in Bangkok. They have all the facilities needed. It is close to the metro, bus stops, thai restaurants, 7-11, two malls, street food market and ice cream shops. The staff is polite and supportive and also help with cab bookings. The area is safe even at night. Lots of hotels along the same road. The hotel Breakfast is good but options are a bit limited.
